Suspect On Bike Flashes Knife, Robs 7-Eleven In Huntington Station: Cops

He took cigarettes without paying and then threatened an employee when confronted, Suffolk police said.

HUNTINGTON, NY — A man flashed a knife and stole a pack of cigarettes at a 7-Eleven in Huntington Station last month, Suffolk police said Thursday.

The man went inside 7-Eleven on Oakwood Road at around 5 p.m. on June 8, and asked for cigarettes. He then took them without paying, flashed a knife and threatened an employee when confronted outside, according to police, then fled on a bike.

No one was injured.

In images from surveillance video, the suspect can be seen wearing a dark-colored Champion t-shirt, as well as a dark-colored baseball cap.

The crime has been classified a robbery, according to a police news alert.
