Teen Bicyclist Struck By Car In Huntington Station
BREAKING: The 15-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital Friday evening.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY – A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle in Huntington Station Friday evening, Suffolk Police said.
Emilio Bonilla, of Huntington Station, was riding his bike north in the southbound lane of New York Avenue when he was struck by a 2009 Toyota Corolla heading south in front of 1849 New York Ave. at about 5:15 p.m.
Bonilla was transported via Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old Huntington Station woman, and her adult passenger were not injured. No criminal charges have been filed.
