HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Zaro's Cafe of Huntington Station plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary in style.
The family-owned Greek restaurant, at 135 West Jericho Turnpike, is set to host a party from noon to 8 p.m. Aug. 26. The bash will feature $5 gyros, free baklava, and live music from DJ Saved By The Rhythm.
"In today's uncertain and hectic times, celebrating a 30-year family owned/operated mom and pop business, we believe is a huge accomplishment," Edmund Zarou, manager of Zaro's, told Patch. "This has allowed us to give back to the community, local schools, charity events for the last 30 years and hope to continue. We appreciate the support, come celebrate with us."
