Due to two potent storms impacting the Northeast this weekend, Long Island will receive heavy downpours.
Long Island can expect a 90 percent precipitation of rain before 2 p.m. Saturday. The showers will continue throughout the weekend, with an 80 percent chance on Sunday night and into Monday.
