Firefighters Respond To Reported Electrical Fire At LI Home: FD

Long Island firefighters responded to a call reporting an electrical fire in a residence over the weekend, firefighters say.

ISLIP, NY — Long Island firefighters responded to an electrical fire in a residence over the weekend, Islip firefighters told Patch.

On Saturday shortly after 10 .m., the East Islip Fire Department were called to the scene of a reported electrical fire on Marilyn Street.

Police said firefighters determined that it was smoke coming from an electrical box and no flames were found. No injuries were reported.
