Long Island MMA Fighter Chris Wade Makes It To PFL Final
The Islip native will compete for the world featherweight title after winning a semifinal in the Professional Fighters League championship.

ISLIP, NY—Islip native and Long Island mixed martial arts fighter Chris Wade won his semifinal bout in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) championships which means he will fight in October's final.
Wade beat Bubba Jenkins in the August 27th featherweight semifinal. Wade, 33, was a star wrestler at Islip High School. This will be his first time competing in the final of the championships. The winner will nab $1 million and the world title.
The PFL championships will air live on EPSN on October 27.
