Trio Robs Islip Smoke Shop, Flee: Police

The men confronted the owner of the store and stole cash, police said.

ISLIP, NY — Three men who robbed an Islip store in November are currently being sought after by Suffolk County police.

On November 9, 2022 at about 3:25 p.m., the men confronted the owner of Islandwood Cigars & Smoke, located at 474 Main Street.

One man pointed what appeared to be a handgun at an employee of the store, while another jumped over the counter and took cash before all three fled the scene, police said.
