Burglar Tried To Break Into ATMs In Queens Chase Bank: NYPD
The NYPD is searching for the wannabe burglar who tried to break into several ATMs inside a Jackson Heights Chase Bank, police say.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS -- The NYPD is searching for a man who tried - and failed - to break into a number of ATMs at a Chase Bank in Jackson Heights, police say.
On Dec. 5 at around 12:45 a.m., the man used a crowbar to pry open the door to the ATM hall inside a Chase Bank at 37-15 82nd St., police said. He then tried to break into the room behind the ATMs, but bolted from the bank when his attempt was unsuccessful, authorities said.
None of the ATMs were damaged and no money was stolen from the bank, according the NYPD. Cops said the man fled the scene on foot, heading north on 82nd Street toward 37th Avenue.

Police described the man as around 5'8"-5'10" tall and in his 50s. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black baseball hat, dark pants and sneakers.
