Cop Impersonator Steals Woman's Wallet In Queens Nightclub: NYPD
The man pretended to be a cop while demanding a woman's wallet inside a Jackson Heights nightclub, police say.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS -- The NYPD is looking for a man who faked being a police officer to demand a woman's wallet in a Jackson Heights nightclub, police say.
Police said the man approached a 25-year-old woman inside Amor Night Club, at 78-01 Roosevelt Ave., shortly after midnight on Nov. 16. Claiming to be a police officer, he pulled out a shield and demanded the woman hand over her wallet, according to the NYPD.
When she complied, the suspect and a male accomplice took off with her wallet in an unknown direction, authorities said.

Police released the nightclub's surveillance footage of the suspect, who they described as a partially bald man with black hair and brown eyes, standing at around 5'5" and weighing roughly 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and glasses.
Cops said the man's partner in crime was last seen wearing light colored pants, a hooded sweater, a jacket and a backwards cap.
