2 Homeless Men Charged With Grand Larceny
The suspects allegedly stole copper coils from an air conditioning business in Hicksville.

Nassau County Police said they have arrested two homeless men for stealing copper refrigerator coils from a Hicksville business.Â
On Tuesday at 3:32 a.m., police said that James H. Froelich, 52, entered the fenced in area of Traditional Air Conditioning Systems in Hicksville and stole two copper coils, handing them to Paul C. Anspake, 48, who was waiting outside the gate. The defendants fled on foot in an unknown direction.Â
On Tuesday at 3:32 A.M., police said they were located at 180 West Old Country Rd. and placed under arrest without incident.Â
Both men are being charged with fourth degree grand larceny. Additionally, Froelich is being charged with third degree criminal trespass.  Police said that further investigation discovered Anspake had an open Nassau County Bench Warrant for alcoholic beverage. Â
They will be arraigned on Wednesday, April 24 at First District Court in Hempstead.
