Bicyclist, 11, Struck By Car, Seriously Injured In Nassau: Police
He was struck by a Toyota Camry and then airlifted to an area hospital for treatment, Nassau police said.
LEVITTOWN, NY — An 11-year-old boy riding a bicycle was struck and seriously injured near the library in Levittown on Friday night, Nassau police said.
Officers responded to Library Lane, near Center Lane, where an eastbound 2004 Toyota Camry with a 19-year-old behind the wheel, struck the boy, according to police.
He "suffered multiple trauma injuries" and was taken to an area hospital by a Nassau police's helicopter to an area hospital for treatment and is now listed in stable condition, police said.

The 19-year-old remained at the scene and was not injured in the crash, police said.
The crash took place at around 5:40 p.m. as first reported by Patch.
