Box Truck Overturns In Nassau, Live Wires Threaten Driver
BREAKING: The vehicle smashed into a tree and snapped a utility pole, causing live wires to rest on the truck.

LEVITTOWN, NY — A box truck driver is lucky to be alive after the vehicle overturned in Levittown and he climbed out with live wires on it. The driver lost control of the truck on North Newbridge Road, around 2:45 p.m. Friday, officials said.
The vehicle smashed into a tree and snapped a utility pole, causing live wires to rest on the truck. The Levittown Volunteer Fire Department, Wantagh Levittown Ambulance Corp and Nassau County police officers rushed to the crash.
First responders evaluated the driver at the scene. The northbound lanes of North Newbridge Road remained closed for more than an hour while crews worked the wreck.
