Crime Report, Pt. II: Attempted School Break-in, Handicap Permit Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Hicksville

- On July 11, assorted jewelry was stolen on Border Street in Hicksville. 

- On July 14, cellphones were stolen from Wireless Products in Hicksville. 

- On July 9, two cemetary markers were stolen from Plain Lawn Cemetary in Hicksville. 

- On July 10, a wallet, keys and a credit card were stolen at Sears. 

- On July 14, a wallet was stolen from Cantiague Park. 

- On July 15, a cell phone was stolen on Kuhl Avenue. 

- On July 15, 6 foot extension poles were stolen on Morgan Street. 

- On July 3, a window was broken on an auto on Dartmouth Drive. 

- On July 12, two left tires were cut on a car on Herzog Place. 

- On July 12, a handicap permit was stolen from a car on Dartmouth Drive. 

- On July 13, a pocketbook was stolen from a car at the BP Gas Station.

- On July 12, a cooler with nail specimens was stolen from the HIP Center. 

Bethpage

- On July 10, a person attempted to pry open the rear door at the ACLD School. No loss was reported. 

- On July 12, a wallet was stolen from the DMV office. 

- On July 12, an arson was reported at T&F trucking with front and rear windshields broken.
