Crime Report: Volunteer Fire Department ID Stolen, Victim Robbed on Gardiners Aveue

A look at recent crime, reported by the Nassau County Police Department.

The following info. was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate convictions. 

- On August 15 at 1 a.m., a volunteer fire department ID card was stolen from a car on Loring Road.

- Sometime between December 4, 2013 and August 14, 2013, silver and gold coins were stolen from delivered packages at the UPS store.

 - Sometime between August 16 at 10 p.m. and August 17 at 8 a.m., two Koi Fish and an alligator ornament were stolen on Old Farm Road.

- Sometime between August 19 at 11 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., cash, an IPod and a NYS driver’s license were stolen from a car at Target. 

- Sometime between August 16 at 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., a suspect struck a victim and stole cash from them on Gardiners Avenue.
