Crimes Nearby: Bomb Threat at Hospital, TVs Stolen From PC Richards

Recent crime reported in the Levittown area.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports and the Second Precinct Crime and Arrests report. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.        

East Meadow

· A homeless man from Westbury was arrested Wednesday after allegedly calling Nassau University Medical Center claiming there was a bomb inside the hospital, according to Nassau County Third Squad detectives. Click this link for more.

· Nassau police arrested an East Meadow man and his alleged drug dealer in front of a N. Jerusalem Rd. restaurant last Sunday and Monday evenings. Click here for more.

· Sometime before 8 a.m. on July 19, items were stolen from a car on Blaine Avenue after the vehicle’s windows had been left open.

· Sometime between 9 p.m. on July 14 and 6 a.m. on July 15, a vehicle’s door was scratched while parked on Prospect Avenue.

· Sometime between July 17 at midnight, and July 19 at 10 a.m., prescription pills were stolen from a vehicle on Flock Lane.

· Sometime between 10-11:15 a.m. on July 22, a pocket book, credit cards and cash were stolen from a car on Hempstead Turnpike.

· On July 15, at 5 p.m., there was an attempted burglary on Drake Lane. No loss was reported.

· Sometime between July 19 at 11:30 p.m. and July 20 and 7 a.m., a car was stolen from Harvest Lane in Levittown.

·  At 2:27 p.m. on July 18, a trailer with landscaping equipment was stolen off Emerson Avenue.

· Sometime between July 7 at 1:40 p.m. and July 10 at 5:50 p.m., four televisions were stolen from P.C. Richard’s.

· Sometime between July 20 at 10 p.m. and July 21 at 4:30 p.m., fishing equipment and accessories were stolen off of a property on Horn Lane.

Wantagh 

· Sometime between 11 p.m. on July 19 and 8 a.m. on July 20, unknown suspect(s) damaged the side view mirror of complainant’s vehicle, which was parked on Atlantic Boulevard.

· Sometime between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on July 22, a home on Sarah Drive was broken into via the front window. No loss was reported.
