Crimes Nearby, Pt. II: Baseball Clubhouse Vandalized, Car Tires Slashed

Bellmore   Â
- North Bellmore North Merrick Little League (NBNMLL) officials are looking for help in identifying those responsible for vandalizing the clubhouse at Saw Mill Road School. Click here for more details.
- At 5:15 p.m. on March 31, Nicholas Casiello, 23, of North Merrick, was arrested at Newbridge Road and Dock Road in Bellmore and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and four violations of the vehicle and traffic law.Â
- Sometime between 6 p.m. on March 31 and 2 p.m. on April 1, the front door of the East Meadow Soccer Club on Newbridge Road in North Bellmore was damaged.Â
-Â Sometime between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on April 6, a cell phone was stolen at Mepham High School.
Massapequa
- A man on East Shore Drive reported to police on April 3 that someone stole an 11' floating dock from his rear yard.Â
- On April 6, Scott Ferrara, 48, of Massapequa Park was arrested on Lindbergh Street and charged with three counts of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
- Two tires were reported slashed on Harbor Lane in Massapequa Park on April 8.Â
Seaford Â
-Â A woman on Howard Avenue reported discovering jewelry and other miscellaneous items missing from her residence and shed on March 17. No forced entry was observed.
- Two bicycles were reported stolen from the Tackapausha Museum on Washington Avenue on April 4.Â
- GPS devices were reported stolen from unlocked vehicles parked on Dale Court and Anne Drive on April 6.Â
- A GPS and pocketbook were stolen from vehicles parked on Anne Drive on April 6. No damage to the vehicles was reported.Â
- A GPS was stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home on Dogwood Lane on April 7. Â
