Fire Destroys Levittown Garage, Damages Home

The Monday morning fire completely destroyed the detached garage, and cause damage to two houses, officials said.

LEVITTOWN, NY — A fire in the garage of a Levittown home Monday morning completely destroyed the structure, and damaged the nearby house.

The fire broke out in the detached garage of a home on North Jerusalem Road before 10 a.m. this morning.

Police said the fire caused minor damage to the back of the home, as well a to a neighboring house. The garage was completely destroyed by the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
