Gardiners Avenue Students Participate in All-County Festival

11 fifth grade students were selected to participate in the 2013 Nassau Music Educators Association All-County Festival.

The Levittown School District is pleased to announce that 11 fifth-grade student-musicians, under the direction of music teachers Laura Koski and Dr. Edwin Martinez, were selected to participate in the 2013 Nassau Music Educators Association All-County Festival.

The students took part in the Division I East orchestra, band and chorus events, comprised of only fifth-grade students who have been recommended for their outstanding efforts and musical abilities.      

The district would like to congratulate the following NMEA participants: Wally Brown, baritone horn; Jillian D’Oro, chorus; Olivia Eden, trumpet; Paul Giorlando, trumpet; Timothy Giorlando, violin; Jake Goldfried, trombone; Larissa Leonardi, chorus; Brianna Paredes, chorus; Austin Pernice, trombone; Vladimir Rudnick, trombone; and Gianna Tannazzo, flute.
