Island Trees Library Budget Passes

Levittown voters approved the 2013-14 Island Trees library budget Tuesday night, with 168 voting yes and 45 voting no. 

The total proposed tax levy amount for the Island Trees Library's 2013-14 budget is $1,157,080, which represents an $11,456 (1 percent) increase over the previous year. 

William Fitzgerald won the trustee seat, against opponents Kathleen A. Hutton and Robert C. Redka.
