LEVITTOWN, NY — A Levittown man has been arrested after police said he robbed a gas station at knifepoint. Nicolas Bocci of Barbara Lane was arrested Saturday night after officers found him sitting in a parked vehicle on his street.

In the early morning hours of Sept. 24, Bocci walked into an Exxon gas station and pulled out a knife, police said. The station is on Hempstead Turnpike, near Jerusalem Avenue. When he demanded a 69-year-old worker fork over cash from the register, the worker complied and Bocci ran off, police said.

Bocci faces robbery and marijuana charges. He was expected to appear in Hempstead court Sunday.
