Levittown Man Breaks Into Car, Steals Credit Cards: Cops

STAMFORD, CT — A Levittown man has been arrested after police said he broke into a car in Connecticut and then stole a purse and credit cards, according to a report.

Vashaar Sarmad, 18, faces charges including burglary and theft in connection with the Oct. 15 theft, The Stamford Advocate reported Monday. Credit cards taken from the purse were used at stores in the area and police reportedly tracked him down using secure footage.
