Levittown Seniors Honored For Excellence In Physical Education

The four students exemplify outstanding scholastic ability, physical education performance and leadership qualities.

LEVITTOWN, NY — Levittown seniors from Division Avenue and General Douglas MacArthur high schools have been recognized for their excellence in physical education.

Erin Cacciuttolo and Philip Konior of Division Avenue and Joe Manfredo and Nina Scanze of MacArthur were recently honored with the 2019-20 Outstanding Physical Education Student of the Year Award, the district announced Wednesday.

The award was presented by the Nassau Zone of New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. Students were recognized during a special awards dinner at the Crest Hollow Country Club.

Each year, the award is given to one male and one female graduating senior from each Nassau County high school. These students exemplify outstanding scholastic ability, physical education performance and leadership qualities.
