Multiple Shoplifters Arrested In Levittown: Nassau County Police

LEVITTOWN, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in the Levittown area for the week ending Sept. 1.

All charges are merely accusations.

  • A perfume bottle and $30 cash were taken from an unlocked car parked on Woodcock Lane in Levittown on Aug. 26.
  • A NYPD parking permit was stolen from a car parked on Orchid Road in Levittown on Aug. 25.
  • A catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked on Flamingo Road in Levittown on Aug. 30.
  • Shoban Mehta, 42, of Bellmore, was arrested on Aug. 25 and charged with shoplifting from Home Depot on Hempstead Turnpike.
  • Oscar A. Menjivar-Acevedo, 32, of Jamaica, was arrested on Aug. 31 and charged with shoplifting from Home Depot on Hempstead Turnpike.
