New Levittown Teachers Prepare For The 2022-23 School Year
The district welcomed the educators at its annual new teacher orientation.

LEVITTOWN, NY — The Levittown School District welcomed its newest educators at its annual new teacher orientation on Aug. 29-30.
Coordinated by Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Beth Zirogiannis, the newcomers spent the day speaking with administrators, board members and department directors on their educational strategies.
At the start of the event, the group was welcomed by board of education members, including President Jennifer Messina, as well as Superintendent Todd Winch, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Finance Michael Fabiano, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Debbie Rifkin and Zirogiannis.

Teachers discussed topics including the use of instructional technology, how to create a positive environment for learning and special education. After the two-day event, teachers were ready to tackle the school year, which begins Sept. 6.
