New West East All Natural Bistro Restaurant Opens

West East All Natural Bistro & Bar in Hicksville has gotten an all-natural makeover.

Formerly known as the West East Bistro, the Asian restaurant located at 758 S. Broadway has re-emerged, announcing several changes to their menu, appearance and service.

The menu now features all-natural ingredients like grass-fed beef, free-range poultry and sustainably grown seafood, according to their website. The meat is antibiotic and hormone-free, and the restaurant also hosts a sustainable seafood program.

Appetizers range in price from $5 to $12, sashimi and sushi from $5 to $9, entrées from $14 to $27 and dessert from $5 to $9. Asian appetizers include: chicken soong with jicama, smoked tofu, peppers, scallions, romaine and hoisin.

A popular entrée choice is the Wok magic chicken in Thai basil and sweet chili sauce served with jasmine rice. Another is the Painted Hills Farms grass fed marinated skirt steak with corn, cilantro, chili relish and shoestring fries.

The beverage menu consists predominantly of wine, sake, beer and cocktails. The restaurant holds sushi and sake nights on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s: which feature a glass of sake and sushi for $10 or sashimi for $12.

The new décor features simple dark wooden tables under Asian lantern-like ceiling lights, leather cushioned dark wood chairs, a granite bar and geometric shapes of circles, squares and rectangles.

West East All Natural Bistro & Bar is open Tuesday through Thursday from 12 to 9 p.m., Friday from 12 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m.
