Police: Teacher's Aid at Seaman Neck Middle School Displayed Explicit Video to Student

A teacher’s aid at the Nassau BOCES Seaman Neck Middle School in Seaford was arrested Friday and charged with displaying a sexually explicit video to a student.
Nassau County Seventh Squad detectives said the teacher’s aid, Tanya Thompson of Rockville Centre, displayed a sexually explicit video from her cell phone to a 13-year-old male student at the school, which is located on 1100 Crestline Place in Seaford. A police spokeswoman would not provide any details on what made the video explicit.
Thompson, 29, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Hempstead on April 13.

Officials for Nassau BOCES did not respond to calls seeking comment. Seaman Neck Middle School is a special education facility for students ages 10-14. It is located in a building that used to house Seaman Neck Elementary School, which the Levittown Public Schools closed in 1997.
