Space Available for Events at the Island Trees Public Library
A look at some upcoming events that are still open.

Looking for something fun to do in August? The following programs at the Island Trees Public Library still have space available, and some of the events are even free of charge.
If there is a fee, patrons must sign up at the circulation desk. If there is no fee, they may either sign up in person or call (516) 731-2211.Â

BLOOD DRIVE: Long Island Blood Services will be in the Dolores M. Morehouse Community Room at the library on Wednesday, August 1, 12:00pm-8:00pm. Each donor will receive two Mets tickets. Â Â
GROWNUP & ME: MOON & STAR TWINKLE LIGHTS: Monday, August 6, 4:30pm. Ages: 5 to 11. Instructor: Shirley Ruby. Materials Fee: $4.00. Check out this cool strand of lights that you will decorate. Please bring 2 C batteries. Â

ORIGAMI DREAM BOOK: Thursday, August 9, 6:30pm-7:30pm. Grades 5-12. Instructor: MaryAnn Scheblein-Dawson. FREE. You will fold and decorate a beautiful Origami Dream Book.
