LEVITTOWN, NY — Teachers at Summit Lane Elementary School hosted a toy collection drive-through on Dec. 14.

The front of Summit Lane was adorned with festive decorations and lights, and the teachers spread holiday cheer as families drove by to drop off donations. Several bags were filled by the end of the event and were donated to the John Theissen Children’s Foundation, which supplies toys to children in need.

The second annual drive-thru was a re-invention of Summit Lane’s annual toy drive to keep safety in mind.
