Swastikas Found on Sidewalk at Levittown Memorial Park
Police are investigating the bias incident in Levittown.

Nassau County Police are investigating two swastikas and anti-semitic remarks found written in black magic marker on a sidewalk at Levittown Veterans Memorial Park. Â
Police said a Hempstead Town Park Supervisor discovered the marks early Tuesday morning. The two swastikas were both three inches in size, police said.Â
A Nassau County Public Information Officer told Patch that the markers could have been there for a while as the marker was found faded.     Â
A month ago, police discovered two swastikas drawn in chalk on an East Meadow sidewalk. It is unclear if the two incidents are related and the investigation is ongoing.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
