Thieves Steal $100G, 230 Cellphones in Hicksville

Cops are searching for two men who stole hundreds of cellphones and a safe from AT&T early Thursday morning.

Nassau Police are searching for two men they say stole a safe and more than 200 cellphones from a Hicksville store early Thursday morning.

At 12:50 a.m., two men entered T-Mobile, located at 535 South Broadway, by disabling the alarm, cops said. Inside the store, the pair took 230 cellphones and a safe that contained more than $100,000, police said.

An employee discovered the disabled alarm system when he got to work later that morning, police said.

Cops released surveillance photos of the thieves and are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
