Volunteers Needed for Earth Day Cleanup in Levittown

Head to the OfficeMax parking lot Saturday to lend a helping hand for your community.

With just a little bit of your time and effort this weekend, you can help your community in a tremendous way. 

The Levittown Community Council is looking for volunteers for the 7th annual Community-Wide Clean Up in celebration of Earth Day. The clean-up takes place on Saturday, April 20, 1 p.m. at the OfficeMax parking lot on Hempstead Tpke., just east of Gardiners Ave. in Levittown.

Please bring rakes, brooms and work gloves. All volunteers should be at the parking lot at 1 p.m. where groups will be assigned an area to clean (ages 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult). 

Students in honor society, religious education programs, Key Clubs, boy or girl scout groups or anyone needing community service credit is welcome to participate. Written acknowledgement of your time commitment will be provided.
