$1 Million Lottery Prize Claimed By Copiague Man

The winning ticket was sold at a business in Copiague, according to the New York Lottery.

COPIAGUE, NY – A prize-winning Millionaire Maker scratch-off game ticket worth $1,000,000 was claimed by a Copiague man in August, according to the New York Lottery.

The lucky winner, Stepian Krzysztof, purchased the ticket at Smokewerx in Copiague, lottery officials said.

Krzysztof accepted his prize as a single, lump sum payment totaling $651,000 after required withholdings, according to officials.

When Krzysztof claimed the prize, there were nine top prizes remaining on the Millionaire Maker ticket.

The New York Lottery generated $3.7 billion in total sales during fiscal year 2022-2023.
