In and around Lindy there are a variety of free during the summer, including those presented each year by the .

Bands and acts on the 2011 schedule range from , the Beatles tribute band which rocked the and kicked off the July 4 weekend in nearby Copiague, to The Monkees’ on July 22 at .

Tonight is the next concert in the free series: . The ’ll take the stage at , located at the end of in Copiague, at And admission is free, according to town officials.

Following on Friday night at will be . It’s set to take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on July 8.
