Attend a Movie at the Library

Looking for something to do on the cheap that not only entertains, but also cools as Lindenhurst experiences a late Spring heat wave?

Head to the for the Thursday afternoon movie. Each week the LML shows a popular film on the big screen in the large conference room downstairs.

It’s free to residents, and no registration is required. Each week the movie begins at 1:30 p.m.

Most recently the library showed The Fighter and How Do You Know? This week’s movie feature is , starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler.

According to IMBD.com, the movie revolves around a weekend trip to Hawaii, when a plastic surgeon convinces his loyal assistant to pose as his soon-to-be-divorced wife in order to cover up a careless lie he told to his much-younger girlfriend.

Upcoming movies include True Grit, Another Year and Adjustment Bureau.
