Amityville 2nd-Graders Celebrated During Moving-Up Ceremony
Northwest Elementary School 2nd graders were celebrated during a moving-up ceremony at Amityville Memorial High School.
AMITYVILLE, NY —Second graders at Northwest Elementary School in Amityville started summer with a moving-up ceremony.
The children were recognized for their achievements in their educational journey at the moving-up ceremony at Amityville Memorial High School on June 24, according to district officials.
District administrators and parents were in attendance as teachers from each class announced their graduates and handed out completion certificates. Students also received gift baskets during the ceremony.
