What's happening includes a question, a meeting, awards and classes.

Monday brings several new things you need to know, plus a question. So let’s get right to them:

1. The SEPTA awards will take place tonight at 7 p.m. at the .

2. The E.W. Bower elementary school PTA will hold a meeting tonight at 7 p.m.

3. Today the hosts another the from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. tonight it’ll host a Yogalates class from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. And tomorrow, April 12, the LML will have its . That’ll run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the library.

4. This weekend, Lindenhurst little league baseball kicked off the season. Sunday morning the Lindenhurst American League kicked off with its parade that started at the Sears parking lot and went down Spiegelhagen to the Babylon Town Hall.

Sunday afternoon the Lindenhurst National Little League’s opening day parade started in village square – – and wound down Wellwood Avenue to Edward F. Kienle field in Fireman’s Park. Look for a look through the at both.

5. April 13 is the new date set for the final budget workshop and special meeting. It’ll start at 8:30 p.m. at the auditorium.

The BOE had while it continued talks with the teachers’ union, TAL. The two are still in talks, according to the school district.
