August 13-14 Lindy Edition: Native Americans & Ballet

The weekend’s here, Lindy! Here are some to help you stay and healthy during the heat of summer. Plus, be sure to check out of a South Shore beach.

Now, here’s what you need to know this weekend:

1. The 31st Annual Paumanauke Pow-Wow will take place at the from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s by the Paumanauke Pow-Wow Committee, the (BACCA) and the Town of Babylon.

2. There are several events happening at the , including the play performed by the Gercharel Players at 2 p.m. on Saturday. See the LML website for more details and events.

4. For the third consecutive year a performance of the ballet Giselle by the Lumière Ballet Performing Company at will take place. It’s set for this weekend at 7:30 p.m. On Act One will be performed, and on Act Two will be performed.

7. The Suffolk County Police Department’s Police Athletic League is hosting the annual 7-on-7 Tournament to benefit Lauren’s First and Goal and the Foundation. It’s scheduled for , from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the PAL Complex in Holbrook.
