August 2 Lindy Edition: Meeting & Mah Jongg

It’s Tuesday, Lindy! As temps continue to climb, here are some to help you stay and healthy during the heat of summer. And be sure to check out of a South Shore beach.

Now, here’s what you need to know today:

1. Today’ Village board meeting will take place at .

2. There are several events happening at the , including at 1 p.m.

4. The 2011-12 supply list and elementary school supply list are now available on the ’s website. The 2011-12 calendar is also available.

5. Space is also still available in the last session of Lindenhurst Schools summer swim program, according to the district’s website. The cost for lessons is $35.00 per child; bring a check or money order payable to Lindenhurst Public Schools. Session Three starts August 1 and runs through August 12. Class start times are 9 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
