Class of 2013 Donates New Pool Scoreboard
Graduated class collected over $11,000 as part of their gift to the school.
Gone, but defiantly not going to be forgotten – the graduated Class of 2013 made their class donation to the Lindenhurst High School Pool for the installation of a new scoreboard.
The high school pool, which is used for both swim classes during school hours as well as for the Bulldogs' swim team, was in need of an updated electronic scoreboard.
The Class of 2013 donated a grand total of $11,614.62 to the Board of Education for the new scoreboard and a $1,000 donation to the Class of 2017's account balance.
The board formally accepted the donation during the End of the Year Meeting held on June 26.
