Construction Starts On Sand City South

Lindenhurst, NY — South Shore beer fans will be excited to learn that construction has started on the Wellwood Avenue site of the future Sand City South. Owners of the popular Northport brewery Sand City Brewery purchased the closed CVS store on 150 S. Wellwood Avenue last year.

A representative for the brewery told Patch that construction has been going on for the last two months.

"Things are coming along quite nicely. We hope to be open by the spring time, depends on a couple of factors. But things are looking pretty good."

Sand City South will join existing Lindenhurst breweries 27A Brewery and W.A. Meadwerks.
