Daily Q August 1: MTV Turns 30

Today’s question:

For anyone who remembers when MTV played music 24/7, then marks a momentous occasion: 30 years ago today MTV debuted just past midnight with images of the launch of Apollo 11 followed by the very first video it aired, Video Killed the Radio Star by the Buggles.

And the second video was You Better Run by Lindenhurst’s own Pat Benatar. Hers was one of 87 videos shown that first day, according to the list on Wikipedia.

So Patch was wondering:
