Sure, Queens and Nassau County are teeming with red light traffic cameras, but now it seems Suffolk has started to populate busy traffic areas with them.

And now it seems several have started popping up in and around town, such as the one at the corner of Route 109 and New Highway, the one reportedly at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Straight Path and the one reportedly at the corner of Delaware Avenue and Sunrise.

So Patch was wondering:

  • How do feel about them? Yea or nay? Have they affected the way you drive? Do you drive more carefully because of them? Have you received a dreaded traffic ticket by mail for running a red light?
