Eighth-Graders Celebrate Promotion to Lindy High School
Incoming freshman say goodbye to Lindenhurst Middle School.
Lindenhurst Middle School’s eighth-grade students celebrated their promotion ceremony on June 19 at the Edward Kienle Memorial Field.
Principal Frank Naccarato offered words of advice for the students and shared words of encouragement as they move forward in their educational career.
“Your future is bright and limitless, make the most of it,” said Mr. Naccarato. “Remember that all of you represent Lindy Pride each day.”

Superintendent Richard Nathan also spoke, as well as Board of Education trustee Edward Langone and student council president Nicholas Abbazio. Eighth-grade students were recognized for various achievements and awards and the top ten students were acknowledged for their accomplishments.
As a highlight to the ceremony, the middle school mixed chorus sang an emotional rendition of “A Moment Like This.”
