A sure sign of the tough economic times is the number of For Sale and For Rent signs you see in the Village and North Lindenhurst.
If you go down Wellwood Avenue, Sunrise Highway, Hoffman Avenue, Montauk Highway or other major roads in the area, residents are sure to find a few.
During the next few months, Lindenhurst Patch is going to some of those properties and ask you what you'd like to see in there.
This week, Patch is looking at the space formerly occupied by Electrical Training Center, Inc. at 141 N. Wellwood Ave.
Electrical Training Center, Inc. moved into the space in the during the last decade, taking over the vacant storefront and providing a space for future electricians to train and hone their craft.
The training center, however, moved out of Lindenhurst to a new space in Copiague in the last two years.
The 5,500 square-foot space has about 3,500 square feet available to be rented and is close to the municipal parking lot and Long Island Rail Road station.
