- LIRR: The Long Island Rail Road will run on a holiday schedule with some extra trains added - including one westbound and five eastbound trains on the Babylon Branch, which runs through Lindenhurst. Click here for details.

- Library: Closed for the holiday; Winter Reading Club (CH) (YA), till February 29
- Post Office: Most post offices will be closed, and there'll be no mail delivery for the holiday.
