There are many closures, so here's what you need to know:

1. Government:

• LIRR: The Long Island Rail Road will run on a holiday schedule with some extra trains added - including one westbound and five eastbound trains on the Babylon Branch, which runs through Lindenhurst. Click here for details.
• Lindenhurst Village : Closed for the holiday
• Babylon Town : Closed for the holiday
• Library: Closed for the holiday; Winter Reading Club (CH) (YA), till February 29
• Post Office: Most post offices will be closed, and there'll be no mail delivery for the holiday.

2. Schools:

• Schools: Closed for the holiday; no games scheduled for the Lindenhurst Bulldogs today; check back with Lindenhurst Patch’s events calendar for Lindy sports, tomorrow.
• OLPH : Closed for the holiday

3. Meetings:

• Knights of Columbus-OLPH Council : Retired Knights meeting, 12 p.m.; join the Motorcycle Club (fundraising), details
• Loyal Order of Moose Lodge : LOOM general meeting, 8 p.m.

4. Entertainment:
