July 19 Lindy Edition: Reading & Swimming

Get ready for another hot, sultry day, Lindy. Here are some to help you stay and healthy during the heat of summer. And be sure to check out of a South Shore beach.

Now, here’s what you need to know today:

1. There’s a WOTM meeting at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1421 tonight at 7 p.m.

4. In addition, the library has Bridge/Mah Jongg at and Family Story Time at See the LML website for more details and events.

5. The 2011-12 supply list and elementary school supply list are now available on the ’s website. The 2011-12 calendar is also available.

6. Space is also still available in the last two sessions of Lindenhurst Schools summer swim program, according to the district’s website. The cost for lessons is $35.00 per child; bring a check or money order payable to Lindenhurst Public Schools. Session Two started yesterday and runs through 29. Session Three starts August 1 and runs through August 12. Class start times are 9 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
