July 20 Lindy Edition: Clam Bake & Tunes

The heat wave continues today, Lindy. Here are some to help you stay and healthy during the heat of summer. And be sure to check out of a South Shore beach.

Now, here’s what you need to know today:

1. That 70s Band will take the stage at the at as part of the Town of Babylon’s .

2. The Lindenhurst Republican Club is holding its fundraiser tonight at from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. There’ll be food, music and an open bar. Donation is $50 per ticket, and checks should made payable to the Lindenhurst Republican Club. For more information call 631-225-0130.

3. Doors open for the weekly Wednesday bingo at the Knights of Columbus-OLPH Council #794 at 8 a.m. It’ll start at 10:15 a.m.

4. Check out open mic night at on South Wellwood Avenue, starting It’s open to all and attracts performers of all ages.

5. There’s a Captree Power Squadron meeting at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1421 tonight.

6. The 2011-12 supply list and elementary school supply list are now available on the ’s website. The 2011-12 calendar is also available.
