July 28 Lindy Edition: Movie & Blood Drive

What's happening includes lunch, a movie, a blood drive and a meeting.

Now, here’s what you need to know today:

1. The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1421’s social quarters is open for lunch on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

2. Doors open for the weekly Thursday bingo at the Knights of Columbus-OLPH Council #794 at 5:30 p.m. It’ll start at 7:15 p.m.

6. A seminar about will take place in nearby Commack at the at Northport attorney (general practice and animal law) and animal rescuer Carol Ryder conducts regular seminars on the topic. Reservations (631-265-2072) are suggested, but walk-ins are also welcome. The seminar is complimentary but donations of blankets, towels and other used but clean linens, as well as pet toys, for shelter animals, are very much appreciated.
