June 2 Lindy Edition: Awards & Games

It’s a gorgeous day in the neighborhood today, Lindy! Here’s what you need to know today:

1. The Senior Awards is set for tonight.

2. Lindenhurst will be competing in the Nassau County Empire State Games for the Physically Challenged, held this year at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Nassau County. The Games are set for , with festivities beginning with a parade of athletes at the opening ceremony on at Mitchel Field from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Lindy will be there competing , from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

3. ’s PTA meeting will begin at , and ’s PTA executive meeting will also begin at Plus, a is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Albany Avenue elementary.

4. The Lindenhurst Kiwanis Club holds its weekly meeting tonight at

5. Doors open for the weekly Thursday bingo at the Knights of Columbus-OLPH Council #794 at 5:30 p.m. It will start at 7:15 p.m.

6. The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1421’s social quarters is open for lunch on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
