Lindenhurst Police Blotter: Peeing In Public, Stealing, DWI

Lindenhurst residents urinating in public, stealing and driving while intoxicated.

LINDENHURST, NY – Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Lindenhurst area from April 22 through April 28.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • April 22: Robert Wagner, 63, of North Delaware Avenue in Lindenhurst, was driving a 2020 Hyundai eastbound on Sunrise Highway when he crashed into a guardrail. He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
  • April 23: Joseph Ragusa, 63, of 36th Street in Lindenhurst, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny for stealing multiple boxes of vinyl flooring from Floor & Decor on Broad Hollow Road in Farmingdale, police said.
  • April 24: Patrick Glynn, 60, of South 3rd Street in Lindenhurst, was arrested and charged with exposure of a person for urinating on a public sidewalk on 5th Avenue in Bayshore, police said.
  • April 25: Brian Thompson, 37, of West John Street in Lindenhurst, was arrested charged with fourth-degree grand larceny for purchasing items with a stolen credit card at several locations, police said.
